In 2018, U.S. agricultural exports to Canada totaled US$20.6 billion, roughly the same as in 2017, and it remains the top U.S. export destination. Canada accounted for nearly 15% of total U.S. food and agricultural product exports of US$139.6 billion. Canada remains the top market for U.S. exports of consumer-oriented products. U.S. exports of these products reached a US$16 billion in 2018, the top export destination for the category, and nearly 78% of Canada's agricultural total. Canada is also the top market for U.S. processed food exports, totaling more than US$12.7 billion in 2018.
